Planting it

Plant after use. Germination depends on seed variety, soil, water and growing conditions.

Fast seeds can show within 3 to 5 days, most take about a week and some up to two weeks. Very dry or hot weather slows them. For the best chance of sprouting, plant within a year of receiving them.

International

Seeds are controlled at most borders, so this goes to selected countries only. Tell us the country and we will say yes or no before you commit.

What ships where

Why it works

A month on the desk. Then a plant in a pot.

Thirteen seed-paper cards on a small wooden easel. When a month is over, its card goes into soil, not the bin.

The October card on the small wooden easel, with the July, August and September cards laid out in front

Plant every month

Seeds in the paper. Leaves in a week or two.

The seeds are pressed into the paper when it is made by hand. Lift the finished month off the easel, lay it on moist soil, keep it watered, and the card becomes the plant.

Sprouting depends on the seed, the soil and the water, so we never promise it. Fast seeds can show in 3 to 5 days, most take about a week. Plant within a year of receiving them.

Everything in the box

Look closer. Marigold, tulsi, tomato.

The cards come loose, so the month in front stands on the easel and the rest wait their turn.

Everything in the box. Move across it to look closer; touch a number.
  1. 1October: tomato. A seed shows in the paper, top left.
  2. 2The easel. The month in front rests on its ledge.
  3. 3September: tulsi.
  4. 4August: marigold.
  5. 5July, waiting its turn.
  6. 6The printed box: plan, plant, prosper.

Only the paper is planted.

Remove a finished seed-paper card. Prepare it as directed for its seed, place it on suitable moist soil and water gently. Follow the seed's guidance for covering, light and temperature. See the full planting guide.

Growth is possible under suitable conditions, but it is never guaranteed.

The cards are printed on one side with water-based ink, and the artwork can be your own: a logo, a message or a different picture for each month. Ask us to check the brief and a proof; fine text, heavy ink coverage and exact colour matching deserve that check on textured seed paper.

The B7 size suits employee desks, conference handouts and client table gifts; the B6 landscape card gives a picture or a message more room.

Need a different desk presence?

The corporate calendars guide compares every format. The B6 calendar with a choice of stand puts the same large cards on MDF, an A-frame easel or a wooden base, and the B7 ring-bound calendar holds its cards on two rings.

Before you order.

Answers buyers asked for, kept short.

What is a plantable desk calendar?

Its dated cards are printed on seed paper. After each month, lift that card off the easel and plant the paper; keep the easel on the desk.

How do I plant a calendar card?

Prepare the card as instructed for its seed, lay it on suitable moist soil and water gently. Planting instructions come with the calendar, and the full planting guide is online. Growth is possible under suitable conditions, but it is never guaranteed.

Which seeds are in the cards?

Marigold, tulsi and tomato. The B7 cards name their seed, as the August card in the photographs shows (marigold).

Can we add our logo or our own artwork?

Yes. The cards are printed on one side with water-based ink, and the artwork can be yours. Send the brief and we will check it and share a proof.

Are the photographs of the 2027 calendar?

The B7 photographs show 2027 cards. The B6 cover photograph was taken of the 2026 design; its year was updated to 2027 digitally, and no other change was intended.

What is the paper made of?

The seed paper is handmade from waste cotton and other waste paper. Seeds are embedded during papermaking, and the cards are printed with water-based ink.
