Questions buyers ask.

What is the most sustainable corporate calendar?

There is no single answer, because calendars fail sustainability in two different ways: the material they are made of, and the fact that most of the object becomes worthless on 1 January. A cork block calendar is the least wasteful by design because it is year-agnostic and never needs replacing. A plantable seed paper calendar is the best answer if you want the object to become something else after use. A water hyacinth calendar is the best answer if you want the material itself to have removed a problem before it was made. The worst answer is any calendar where the whole object, stand included, is dated and thrown away.

What is a plantable calendar?

A plantable calendar has month sheets made of seed paper — handmade paper with seeds embedded during papermaking. Once a month has passed, that sheet can be separated, placed in soil and watered, and the seeds may germinate under suitable conditions. bioQ makes plantable calendars in B7 and B6 sizes on wooden easels, MDF flat-pack stands, kraft card stands and WireO binding, with marigold, tulsi or tomato seed.

Is a water hyacinth calendar better than a plantable seed paper calendar?

They tell different stories, and neither is universally better. Seed paper can be planted after use under suitable conditions. Jalkumbhi uses a 70:30 blend of water-hyacinth fibre and recycled-paper fibre, giving harvested invasive plant material another use. Choose seed paper if you want recipient participation. Choose Jalkumbhi when the invasive-plant and handmade-paper story suits the brief.

What should we look for in an eco-friendly corporate calendar?

Four things. First, how much of the object is actually dated — if the stand and packaging are year-agnostic, only the month sheets need replacing. Second, whether the sustainability claim is quantified or just an adjective. Third, whether the non-paper parts (stands, rings, clips, adhesives) are separable and honestly described. Fourth, whether the supplier states the limits of the material rather than only its benefits.

What should we share for a 2027 calendar enquiry?

Tell us the audience, preferred size and material, artwork or branding requirements, and the number of recipients. If artwork exists, share it for a stock proof; if it does not, we can start with the format.

Can corporate calendars be branded with our logo?

Yes. Logo placement is usually on the base panel or stand, with month sheets kept clean so the calendar survives on a desk beyond January. Artwork, colours and any co-branded messaging are proofed before a run is committed. Printing method and colour behaviour vary by material — seed paper and water hyacinth stock are absorbent and textured, so colours print duller than on screen.

Are plantable calendars guaranteed to grow?

No. Germination cannot be guaranteed. It depends on the seed condition, storage, soil, water, temperature, light, climate and recipient care. Any supplier promising guaranteed growth is overstating what seed paper can do.

Which corporate calendar is still useful after 2027 ends?

The cork block calendar has no printed year. The Terra organiser keeps a pen stand and preserved forest, while the Forest Garden keeps a moss display. B7 and B6 plantable calendars keep their stands while the dated cards can be planted.

What is the difference between FTG60 and FGrove38?

Both specifications state an 8.7 × 3.3 × 7-inch MDF organiser, pen holder and ring-bound B7 seed-paper calendar. FTG60 has acrylic-covered preserved botanicals; FGrove38 has an open preserved-botanical area.

Are the pens in the photos included?

No. Both standard offers include a pen holder, but no writing instrument. We can discuss supplying pens separately.

Can we order another calendar year?

The photographs show 2027 cards. A different dated edition requires confirmation of availability and artwork for your order.

Can calendars be customised?

Yes, or buy them as they are. A piece can take your mark, your colours or a line of words, on the piece or its box, or be built around an object of yours. We send a proof before we make it, and reply in one day.
