An open piece keeps its look for 3 years or more; a piece closed under a cover, 5 years or more, under the recommended indoor conditions.

Why it works
An award with a real forest face.
Preserved moss fills the upper face; the white panel below carries the title and the name.
Styled viewReal plants, preserved
Real moss. Nothing to water.
Every strand of moss on it once grew. Preserved, it keeps its colour and texture with no water, no sunlight and no soil.
- 0waterings, ever
- 0hours of sun needed
- 3+years on a shelf, indoors
Every piece is arranged by hand, so yours will differ a little. The years assume it stays indoors, away from damp and direct sun.

What is specified?
The exposed botanical face gives the recipient a close view of the moss. The lower diagonal panel keeps the message separate from it. A blank-area photograph shows the standard form; another photograph shows sample award wording so you can picture the layout.
For a named series, send the titles and recipient list before artwork is prepared. We will check the print placement on the chosen piece.
Would a clear front suit the programme better?
This award presents its moss face openly. The Forest Award Acrylic adds a clear acrylic cover and puts sample wording across that front. Both are listed with a 4 × 8 inch MDF plaque or frame, but their visible front treatments are different. Compare them with the Tree Award sizes and the Terra chamber award on the Awards range page.
Before you order.
Answers buyers asked for, kept short.
Where does the recipient name go?
The recipient name or message goes on the white lower portion. Send the wording and logo for an artwork proof.
Is the moss real?
Yes. The award uses real preserved moss for dry indoor display. Do not water or mist it.
Does the listed size cover the whole award?
The 4 × 8-inch measurement is for the full award. The white lower portion is the print area; we will proof the artwork there.
How is it different from Faward48C?
Faward48 has an open moss face and a separate lower artwork panel. Faward48C adds a clear acrylic cover in front of the moss.
Goes well with these.
