The cardboard office at World Environment Expo 2019.

In June 2019 we built our whole stall out of cardboard: a working office with a desk, stools, shelves and pinboards, all from paper tubes and corrugated board. The line on our invitation said it plainly: today’s waste will be tomorrow’s raw material.

What we put on the stall

The stall, and why.

The whole stall was one idea: an office with nothing in it that was not paper or board. The desk stood on paper tubes. The stools were hexagons built from tubes. The pinboards had round pockets holding pens and sticky notes.

Our invitation called it “Build · pre-launch”: building blocks, from which anyone can make their own furniture and interiors the way they want. We launched the OZONE pen at the same show, which the invitation described as the world’s first biodegradable pen with less than 5% plastic.
