What you receive.

One Rangoli Colour Box (BG-Rangoli-set): four printed seed-paper rangoli cards and twelve mini plantable colour pencils, in a box.

Children colour the rangoli outlines, display them during the festival and plant the cards afterwards; keep the paper damp after planting. Germination depends on the seeds and growing conditions: growth is possible under suitable conditions, but it is never guaranteed. Young children should plant with an adult: the pencils carry small seed capsules.

Questions about the Rangoli Colour Box

What comes in the box?

Four printed seed-paper rangoli cards and twelve mini plantable colour pencils.

Is it only for Diwali?

The designs are rangoli patterns, so it suits Diwali best, but the colouring and planting work for any occasion, including Children's Day.

How are the cards planted?

After the festival, plant each coloured card in a pot of soil and keep the paper damp. Germination depends on the seeds and growing conditions; growth is possible under suitable conditions, but it is never guaranteed.

Can we buy the cards without the pencils?

Yes. The four cards on their own are BG-Rangoli, at ₹72 + 5% GST.

Which age is it for?

It is made for children, but we do not state an age grading. The pencils carry small seed capsules, so young children should colour and plant with an adult.
